Continuous water care

Appropriate water sanitation is a basic precondition for maintaining water in the pool clean. For this, keep the chlorine concentration in the water within the range of 0.3-0.5 mg/l. Use a pool water minitester in conjunction with DPD No 1 tablets to measure chlorine concentration by comparing the colour obtained with the colour chart provided.

When the swimming season is starting and you have added fresh water to the pool, add our Chlor start, a product containing fast-dissolving chlorine, whereby an appropriate chlorine concentration in the pool is attained before the long-term sanitation products start working fully. To maintain an appropriate chlorine concentration in the long run, it is advisable to put slowly dissolving tablets into the skimmer or float.

Chlorine tablets, which used to be popular in the past, have now been replaced by multifunctional tablets. Very popular are, in particular, COMBI tabletswhich, in addition to sanitation, provide basic protection against the growth of algae and contain a flocculant for eliminating water haze, and also MULTI tablets 5-in-1which, in addition, stabilise the pH and clarify the water. Chlorine tablets and COMBI tablets exist in 2 basic sizes: 20g MINI tablets for pools up to 5-10 m3, and 200g MAXI tablets for larger pools.

A new product was launched recently, viz. COMBI BLOCK tablets 500 gdesigned for periods during which the pool cannot be regularly maintained. We are currently putting on the market two-phase DUO MAXI tablets, consisting of a blue part, which dissolves rapidly and provides immediate and very efficient water sanitation, and a white part, which dissolves slowly and provides long-term sanitation, flocculation, algae removal and water clarification.”
