Principle of the method:
CFH SORBENT is a high-performance product that removes impurities from water by adsorption. The product efficiently reduces the amounts of nutrients used by algae for their growth by irreversibly adsorbing the compounds on its active surface. The process can be used to reduce the amount of phosphorus in water, thereby preventing unwanted growth of green algae and toxic blue-green algae. CFH SORBENT can be used in ponds with fish and other aquatic organisms.
Application:
Take the sachet out of the plastic packaging, wash it under running water and place it into the pond’s filtering equipment. If your pond is not equipped with any filtering device, place the sachet at the site with the highest water flow. One kg of CFH SORBENT is sufficient to treat 10 to 40 cubic metres of water for 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the amount of phosphorous nutrients present. After that time or if you feel that the algae in your pond have propagated, replace the sachet with a new one.
For problem-free maintenance of your pond, measure its pH level periodically. If the pH rises above 8.0, add pH MINUS as recommended in the instructions for use of that product.
