How can I find out whether water in my tool is “hard”?

Water hardness is directly proportional to the concentration of the dissolved minerals, calcium and magnesium ions in particular. Tap water hardness can be found out from the municipal water supplier.

If water from a well or another natural source is used, it is advisable to make a crude water hardness measurement with a drop tester. If a high water hardness degree is detected or suspected, use our HARDNESS STABILIZER.
